Today is a pretty special day for me because I got a Director's Award from the person who I've learned the most from this year and my most favorite professor of my college life, Ian Kagey! I am super humbled to have been selected for the Excellence in Engineering award in a class full of truly remarkable musicians, engineers, and recording artists. And a special thank you to Ian - you have given me the lessons of a lifetime in just ten short months!
Happy to share the multilingual monsoon-themed single I have been working on with Shruti & Sahana. We released the music video this week and it is already getting some great attention! We hope you enjoy this one-of-a-kind collaboration in Marathi and Hindi.
Had a great time performing with the Riyaaz By Night band at the weekly Lago de Conciertos show last Friday! Here are some pictures from the gig, courtesy of Berklee Valencia.
On the occasion of World Music Day, Shruti & Sahana and I are excited to share a teaser of our new project... this time in Marathi! :)
Look out for "Paus"... coming soon! In the meantime, enjoy this brief glimpse of the monsoon...
Special thanks to Alex Ortberg for being our cameraman!
A new track from my upcoming world instrumental album! SENSE OF TOUCH is all about using your hands to make music. This is my tribute to the work of the great worldbeat projects such as Tabla Beat Science and Planet Drum. I hope you enjoy this blend of electronics and world grooves!
Recorded and mixed in Valencia, Spain.

I had the honor of debuting ROLI's new Seaboard RISE at Berklee Valencia Friday night! Lots of fun. Thanks to Lia Lowe for the wonderful shot! :-)
Happy to be featured on Berklee Blogs along with my fellow collaborator and the other half of the brand-new 1WORLD project, Enrique Ponce! Check out the new interview here.
Hey everyone! It's been a busy past couple months with a whole slew of new recording sessions to get some incredible instruments tracked for the new album. Here are a few highlights from the sessions — including trumpet, Uilleann pipes, didgeridoo, glissentar, and more!
Taking a quick break from Berklee life to share some exciting news with you all—the past couple months I've been spending whatever free time I have working on a really special collaboration project with the one and only Enrique Ponce. Both of us were intrigued by the idea of working in an exciting new genre of music that is stylistically different than what both of us do normally. We're calling the project 1World—an ethnic chillout duo that's sure to be a breath of fresh air for your ears.
One of our new tracks features our very own extraordinary Indian classical singers, Shruti Kumar and Sahana Kumar. We just got word that we've been selected to perform at Berklee's most unique semesterly concert, Innovation En Vivo! We'll be playing on April 22nd and all of you around the world will be able to tune in on the live stream! :-)
Enrique and I are really excited to finish up this new collection of tracks and will work on scheduling a release once they are completed. Stay tuned for more!
Excited that the first single from a very special project is finally available! Veena Watwe and I had a great time recording this album together last year and it is definitely one of the highlights of 2015 for me - my first time actually fully producing an album for an artist! I'm happy that the album is in its final stages and ready to be released soon. Check out the single now on iTunes, Amazon, or Spotify!
I just got word that my debut album SYNESTHETIC has made Michael Debbage's 2015 Favorites list!
For those of you who don't know, Michael is one of the most well-respected music critics in the instrumental/New Age music fraternity. He wrote a stellar review for my album when it was released a year ago. To be picked in the Top 20 after all the other fantastic albums that came out during 2015 is a HUGE honor.
Listed among Enya, John Adorney, David Arkenstone, and more! I am so honored. A wonderful way to bring in the new year.
Check out the Top 20 list here.
COMING WINTER 2015! "As Long As You Love Me" - a brand-new instrumental song that I've been working on the past few months here at Berklee Valencia.
What's special about this one is that for the first time ever, I've included vocals. :-) One of the most talented vocalists we have here, Dani Turner, was gracious enough to agree to lend her wonderful voice to this.
"As Long As You Love Me" also features some incredible electric guitar work by one of the most fun and versatile guitarists I've ever worked with, Aaron Sutton. This project would not have turned out nearly as well without both of them lending their unique perspectives and talents to it.
A special thanks must also go to Arjun Roy for his musical (and life) guidance, and for making me a better producer along the way!
Here's a preview for you all. I hope you enjoy it, and watch out for the release soon!
Preview of a brand-new instrumental pop song featuring guest vocals by Dani Turner and Aaron Sutton on electric guitar! Coming winter 2015.
My newest song — my first fully-produced track at Berklee Valencia — is almost ready to be released! I am really looking forward to sharing the details with you soon! :)
Check out my new single CACTUS on iTunes!
Hello everyone! I'm happy to let you know that CACTUS is now available for streaming on Spotify. The single should be available on iTunes in a few days as well.
